Information Systems Co-ordinator

AL-KO International is undergoing a period of sustained growth across multiple sites, and now requires the expertise of an Information Systems Co-ordinator to support our infrastructure and provide company IT users with an exceptional experience.

Based out of our AU/NZ head office in Melbourne, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • | Acting as a first-level facilitator in the resolution of user support requests on hardware or software issues in a timely fashion, appropriate to the level of urgency. Prioritising responses and escalations appropriately in accordance with business requirements.
  • | Working collaboratively with external managed services providers to escalate support requests, and to administer, configure and manage the Information Systems environment & infrastructure.
  • | Pro-actively engaging with end-users to ensure expectations are met as practically as possible.
  • | Monitoring system performance, capacity, log files and monthly exception reporting of system errors and issues in collaboration with external managed services providers.
  • | Providing recommendations to the (CFO) on network and system improvements.
  • | Providing guidance and input for design and maintenance of data & associated architecture, including ownership of the “Master Data” tables in the ERP system.
  • | Co-ordinating both internal and external software training.

To be successful, you will have:

  • | A minimum of three years’ experience covering Information Systems functions in an operational organisation.
  • | Experience in a multi-site manufacturing environment would be well regarded but is not essential.
  • | Demonstrated application of ITIL framework policies including documentation.
  • | A passion for excellent customer service and user support.
  • | Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • | A degree qualification in an IT discipline, or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation.

Demonstrated experience with the following will be highly regarded.

  • | Cloud based ERP – Pronto
  • | Cloud based Office 365
  • | LAN server structure
  • | SOPHOS Firewalls, Routers
  • | Multi-site environments
