AL-KO Vehicle Technology Group has announced that its manufacturing facility in Dandenong South, Australia has successfully achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification, an internationally recognised standard that ensures products and services meet the needs of customers through an effective quality management system.
AL-KO’s decision to work towards ISO 9001:2015 accreditation demonstrates their commitment to continuous improvement of their products and services.
“The AL-KO team undertook an 18-month internal process to become ISO 9001:2015 compliant” said Janan Shaana, Quality Engineer for AL-KO Vehicle Technology Australia & New Zealand “this was followed by an extensive company-wide audit that included quality management system development, a management system documentation review, pre-audit, initial assessment, and clearance of non-conformances.”
AL-KO Dandenong South operations were audited by ICG and presented with their certificate in March 2021.
This site wide certification adds to the already existing ISO 9001 certification of AL-KO’s Recreational Vehicle Technology Centre, also at the site location in Dandenong South. Gaining ISO 9001:2015 across the whole Dandenong South site reinforces AL-KO’s vision to be the leading innovator and provider of towing & RV solutions, measured against global benchmarks.
